I brought a 80's girls journal from amazon. It's a Blue Jeans annual from 1984 and it is the type of look to the magazine the girls are trying to create. Mainly the things that leap out at me are the bright background colours and the bright text colours. Also how shockingly cheesy the headlines and text is, it did make me laugh while reading through, it's strange to think this was someones bible in 1984. Will people think this about the magazines of 2010 in the future? I will use the layout from this annual to get ideas for my layout for my day in life of article.
